Overview

This tour takes you from your hotel in Kingston to two of our communities on our way downtown. We will share with you some samplings of Jamaican food, in-season fruits & drinks. As we travel around we will stop for some photoshoots on our way: A view of the city from Beverly Hills, The Bob Marley Statue and the National Heroes Park.

After tasting road side-food we go to The Oasis on the Oxford restaurant for a traditional Jamaican meal, before returning to your hotel.

As with all Walkbout Branded Tours and Experiences, we tell you when and where we start from and end. What happens in-between is pure impulse and adventure depending on your desired time frame and experience. So times, schedule and locations will change without notice as we feel that the more time you spend on the tour locations the greater the local experience.

As we travel around we will stop to tour some sites on the way-including the Roman Catholic Cathedral and the National Gallery.

11:00 Tasting Road Side-Food

Tasting Road Side-Food Along The Way - Jamaican food is one of the best parts of visiting Jamaica and any visit to the island would not be complete without sampling all the great food that Jamaica has to offer. From the spicy jerk chicken and jerk pork, to ackee and saltfish to bammy and festival there are so many treats to have in Jamaica that you will love every bite.

After tasting road side-food we go to The Oasis On The Oxford Restaurant for a traditional Jamaican meal, before returning to your hotel.

Your tour will conclude in Kingston. There are no other activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time after 5pm. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic "Rock"!

This tour starts in Kingston where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
