At the Discovery Centre, learn about the geography, biology and culture of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park Come to understand why it earned a place on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites beside other famous places including the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids of Egypt!

Take a 1 3 km hike on the Oatley Mountain Interpretive Trail, climbing to over 1 000 metres above sea level, crossing over from St Andrew into Portland and stopping at three scenic lookouts along the way Descend through primary forest, rich in ferns and mosses and over 50 species of trees and shrubs, including the Blue Mahoe Jamaica’s national tree Hear and see warblers, solitaires and hummingbirds amongst over 120 bird species found in the Park

Your experience will conclude around mid-day at Holywell. There are no activities planned for the rest of the day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic location!
When and where does the tour start?
This tour starts and end in Holywell. Arriving early gives you a chance to settle and explore the area. You will get to know your guides and fellow Walkbouts. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Do you arrange transportation?
Transportation to and from kingston is available at a cost. Guests may overnight in the cabins or camping at Holywell Reservations/payment for transportation, cabin rental and campsites may be made via the website.
