Overview

Tanzania has many different waterfalls, such as the Sanje Warterfall, which is the biggest and highest waterfall in Tanzania National Park’s. It is 170m from the bottom to the top and is divided into three stages.

The first stage is 170m, the second stage is 30m and the last stage is 70m.

At the second stage you are not allowed to swim, because it’s very deep with lots of caves, so there is high pressure and circulation of water.

From the main gate to the starting point It has 10km and it has 8 km to complete the holy circuit because there are two options.

There is the long way and short way. The long way has 8 km and short way is 3 km and it takes almost 5 hours up and down.

At Sanje Water Fall there is the nice view point to see sugar plantation, sanje village and sunrise when you camp there.

And here is where it’s great for swimming and diving at the first stage and third stage.

Day 1 Dar es Salaam

Azam Marine Ferry to Dar es Salaam and then meet your driver and drive to Mikumi National Park, hot lunch in Morogoro.
Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian.

Camp Bastian Mikumi is set in some unique and natural surroundings. The Camp is located in the buffer zone of Mikumi National Park about 10km from the main gate and A7 Dar es Salaam-Zambia/Malawi Highway. Cottages have private verandahs and decorated with locally made furniture and fabrics to keep an authentic atmosphere in the rooms. Each cottage has private bathroom attached.

You will find everything you need during your stay, complimentary bottled water, towels and mosquito netting, hot water and electricity 24hrs.

Mikumi National Park abuts the northern border of Africa's biggest game reserve - the Selous – and is transected by the surfaced road between Dar es Salaam and Iringa. It is thus the most accessible part of a 75,000 square kilometer (47,000 square mile) tract of wilderness that stretches east almost as far as the Indian Ocean. The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain, the popular centerpiece of Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti Plains.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
